Hi,

Here are some of the reasons for setting up my online tutor blog, www.MsTehMyOnlineTutor.com and being an online tutor.

First of all, my niche blogs and stores do not need daily updates anymore. Updating them twice or thrice a week is enough. As a result, I have some free time.

I can keep on setting up more niche blogs for my blogging empire, but I need a break. Yup, a break from writing articles, submitting articles to articles directories and building links.

Besides, it’s more important for me to optimize my existing blogs and stores so that they bring in increasing passive income in the long run.

Secondly, I am back to giving tuition again after resting for about a year. I stopped my tuition classes in Cameron Highlands the end of December 2007 and started a few classes in Gopeng in November 2008.

I enjoy teaching kids in this little town. However, there aren’t many families that can fork out RM80 per month for tuition fee for an one-hour session class. One hour per session and four sessions per month.

There must be a minimum of 2 students in a class. This means my hourly tuition charge is RM40.

I missed my old tutoring days in Kuala Lumpur and Cameron Highlands so much that one day a brilliant idea struck me. What’s that?

Well, set up my online tutoring business! I can still teach KL students or Cameron Highlands kids even though I am in Gopeng.

Tutoring can be done online so long as there is a computer, a web cam and broadband internet connection. :-)

Setting up this online tutor blog for easy networking is my first step. Next step is to get a web cam for my computer. Getting in touch with my former Kuala Lumpur and Cameron Highlands students will be the final step.

In my next post I will share with you why the parents of my former students are likely to let me teach their kids or teen kids again even though tutoring is done via webcam.
